The entries here exemplify work published in Earshot Jazz, the monthly publication of Earshot Jazz Society of Seattle. I edited the publication from 1995 to 2001, and from late 2005 to mid-2007. I served as "editor-at-large" during the intervening period.
While I was editor, I wrote most of the copy, edited the whole publication, worked with writers and photographers, and collaborated with Earshot staff. I also prepared initial layouts in PageMaker and later InDesign.
Virtually all of the unsigned pieces in the issues I edited also were by me. As a result, in many cases, almost whole issues were by me.
For samples of whole issues by me, go here and download the issues of, e.g., October 2004, October 2005, June 2006, October 2006, and February 2007.
